WHAT DOES CLEAN BEAUTY MEAN TO YOU?
In two words; natural and minimalistic. In 2023 there is no need to still use skincare that contains a whole list of (synthetic) ingredients. Keep it simple and natural!
WHEN DID YOU START PAYING ATTENTION TO SKINCARE AND HOW HAS YOUR ROUTINE CHANGED IN RECENT YEARS?
I think I first started paying attention to skincare when I was 11/12 years old. I got pimples, oilier skin and looked for all kinds of (aggressive) products to get rid of them. After trying different things I now know what works for my skin and created my own routine.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A CONTENT CREATOR AND WHAT HAS YOUR JOURNEY BEEN LIKE SO FAR?
I became a content creator because of my passion for creating. I love keeping up with trends on TikTok and capturing moments of my everyday life. I am definitely still learning and just started to become a UGC creator, an upcoming marketing strategy for brands. As a new ambassador for Witlof I cannot wait to get started and create some cool content!
WHAT IS YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE AND WHAT STEP DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST?
The first thing I do is cleanse my face with a cleanser, use an exfoliant, apply a serum and moisturiser. I put on some make up and I am ready for the day! The step I enjoy the most is taking off my make up, doing my nighttime routine while getting ready for bed!
WHICH OF WITLOF SKINCARE’S VALUES DO YOU SUPPORT?
All the products are 100% natural, which for me is really a must for skin products. I use these products on a daily basis which is why it is even more important to use products without sulfates and silicones, because they may irritate my sensitive and oily skin.
WHICH WITLOF SKINCARE PRODUCTS ARE YOU MOST DRAWN TO?
I am definitely drawn to the Nourishing Facial Cream because it is suitable for oily skin. It is a challenge to find a good cream/moisturizer for oily skin and one of the ingredients is hyaluronic acid, which is known to be effective for oily skin. I am also very curious about the Balancing Toner, because I do not use a toner in my routine (yet).
WHAT MADE WITLOF SKINCARE STAND OUT FROM OTHER BRANDS?
The combination of natural products that are cruelty free, vegan and packaged in a sustainable manner. There are not a lot of brands that can check all these boxes. Of course I love the fact that Witlof is a Dutch brand that is developed and produced in the Netherlands! #supportyourlocals
